14 Days Until the Congressional Twitter Verified Challenge Ends

Last June I posted about the 56 in 56 Congressional Twitter Verified Challenge.  This post was created to encourage all members of the House and Senate to obtain verified status on Twitter.

In doing so, two simple rules were set forth:

•The challenge lasts for 56 days, from 6/17/2010 to 8/11/2010.

•No phone calls allowed... this is social media/viral only.

I've been contacted by several members' offices, and the verified status updates are slowly making their way through the Twitter verification team's queue. 

Just two days ago, Representative Shelley Berkley (@Repberkley) tweeted (and was retweeted by @USDemocrats) that her account has been verified.  Great work!

Another one down, 32 to go...
